Day 1: Nairobi-Aberdare national Park- (Approx. 3 hrs)

Pick up from your home / Airport, you will be met and assisted by our driver guide and you will drive to the Aberdare region, a beautiful mountain range in the central highlands of Kenya. Arrive for lunch at The Aberdare country club where you will be assisted with the check in formalities. The Aberdare Country Club is on a 1,300 acre wildlife sanctuary. It is a haven of unhurried charm set in garden bursting with a profusion of color, and with peacocks living with the lush green lawns. Walking through this unspoiled terrain is paradise.

After Lunch proceed to the Solio Ranch. The ‘Solio Ranch’ is one of the finest wildlife parks in Africa, which hasn´t figured on the tourist map for generations. The park is a fenced, privately-owned wildlife conservancy geared towards rhino conservation. The park plays a major part in the protection and breeding of black rhinos in Kenya. In addition to the world’s largest population of white rhinos
and the near hundred black rhino, the Solio Reserve is inhabited by different other wildlife, such as buffalo, zebra, giraffe, Oryx, antelope, Thompson’s gazelle, impala, waterbuck and warthog. The park also offers some of the best leopard viewing in the country, and lion and cheetah can also be found. Later in the evening return to club for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Aberdare national Park- Full Day

Enjoy an early morning nature walk at Aberdare game sanctuary. While on walks through the forest, you may chance upon various monkeys, such as the Colobus and Vervet monkeys, for whom the Aberdare National Park is an ideal habitat. Many birds are also found here. In the forest there are many animals like the Red Duiker, Suni, Bushbuck, elephants, buffaloes, leopards etc. The moorland thickets are the home of Bush Duicker and Black-fronted Duicker and also the Black Rhino. Later enjoy a wonderful bush breakfast before returning to the club for lunch.

Later in the afternoon either work out in the gym or just relax by the pool set within the beautiful gardens. This can also be substituted by the following activities at an extra cost (play a round of golf watched by a family of warthog, go horseback riding, have a massage, play tennis, go for bike riding.)

In the evening proceed to the Ark Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Aberdare national Park- Full Day

After breakfast, proceed for an extensive game drive at Aberdare National Park. The park is characterized by picturesque, steep forested ravines and open moorland. The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others. Enjoy a picnic lunch then proceed with the game drive. For bird lovers the park in inhabited with over 250 species of birds, including the Jackson’s Francolin, Sparrow hawks, goshawks, eagles, sunbirds and plovers.

Later in the evening return Aberdare Country Club for a bush dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Aberdare national Park- Nairobi

After breakfast, proceed for checkout then begin your journey back to Nairobi to end our journey.
